Brandon lepine

I am an animator/illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. Growing up I always had a passion for art. Whether it was drawing Dragonball Z characters or doodling in my homework, I would always find ways to draw even when I really shouldn’t have been.

I attended Seneca College for Animation and it was here where I really began to discover what I enjoyed. I had grown up thinking there was a certain way I should be drawing and if I didn’t draw this way, I would never find a job nor be successful in life. I was drawing for others as opposed to for myself. It was around this time Instagram started to become more popular and I started seeing these incredible artists drawing cool/dumb/funny stuff.

I don’t have a specific medium I like to use, I instead try to experiment in any way I can. I’ve used everything from paint, to ink to digital. I think the best way for me to keep growing is to never get too comfortable. I tend to lose motivation when things become routine, so why not throw some paint around to help my weird brain chugging.

In the end, I’m just an artist trying to improve everyday. I draw stuff I think is cool or makes me laugh because it makes me happy. That’s all that matters.
